A modern translation (though not beautiful poetry) –

the heart of every poet or visionary…

is looking back-and-forth between heaven and earth.

and as Imagination “kicks in,” something takes shape in the heart/mind.

things which exist in heaven, but have not yet existed on earth, form in the human mind as AN IDEA.

Then, the poet/artist/writer/creator picks up his/her tools… (pen, brush, musical instrument, etc.)

and “creates” this something “out of nothing”...

… forms it, and gives it a name.
